Walyalup Koort, located in the heart of Fremantle (formerly Kings Square), features a vibrant, award-winning play space inspired by the city’s industrial and maritime heritage. The design prominently incorporates iconic local elements like miniature cranes and shipping containers.

Opened in November 2021, the Walyalup Koort Play Space is a vibrant, industrial-themed playground located in the heart of Fremantle's revitalised Kings Square. The design is a direct tribute to the city's maritime and port heritage, featuring equipment shaped like iconic local landmarks.

Fremantle Park, located on Ellen Street in Fremantle, Western Australia, is a classic community green space that primarily serves as a hub for local sports and recreation. Unlike the heavily themed adventure playgrounds elsewhere in the city, such as Walyalup Koort, Fremantle Park offers a more traditional and open parkland experience.

Pioneer Park (also known as Pioneer Reserve) in Fremantle is a heritage-focused green space primarily used for passive recreation and as a commemorative site. While it is a lovely spot for a shaded picnic, it is important to note that this park does not currently have its own playground equipment, barbecue facilities, or public toilets.
